Alignment to Standards for WV

1 S.C.S.1.3c demonstrate the ability to distinguish between natural and man-made objects,
1 SC.O.1.2.05 depict movement of living things in air, water and on land. (e.g., birds flying, fish swimming, or worms burrowing in soil).
1 SC.O.1.3.03 distinguish between natural and man-made objects.
1,2,3,4 SC.O.1-4.3.05 develop respect and responsibility for the environment by engaging in conservation practices (e.g., recycling, or trash clean-up).
2 SC.O.2.1.03 identify and discuss science careers in the community.
3 SC.O.3.3.06 cite examples of the uses of science and technology in common daily events and in the community.
4 SC. describe the positive and negative consequences of the application of technology on personal health and the environment.
K-5 SS.O.WV.04.06 compare and contrast the characteristics of renewable and nonrenewable resources.
