The creators of Arbordale’s favorite little river otter have much to celebrate with the announcement of the Massachusetts Center for the Book, Mass Book Awards longlist on June 24th. River Otter’s Adventure by Linda Stanek and Shennen Bersani joins the list of must-read books for 2021.
May 26, 2021--Recently, we have been contacted by several individuals about a data entry job posting asking applicants to wire money in order to work for Arbordale Publishing Company. This is not something we would ever ask of freelance or regular applicants, and we are very concerned that someone is using our name to deceive people.

March 16, 2021 -- We are revisiting our online reading permissions today and have decided to continue limiting readings to a password-protected or closed platform and not allow readings on YouTube or social media platforms. As we see more and more schools, libraries and museums begin in-person programming, we hope organizations can connect with kids through more traditional programming.
It is awards season, and Arbordale is honored to have both Animal Homes and Las casas de los animals receive a spot on the prestigious CBC-NSTA Outstanding Science Trade Books list. This is Mary’s eighth book in the Animal Anatomy and Adaptations series and follows Animal Mouths in receiving this honor.
Arbordale Publishing is honored that Creek Critters has been named to the prestigious AAAS/Subaru SB&F Prize for Excellence in the Hands-On Science category. Written as a partnership between Jennifer Keats Curtis, the Stroud Water Research Center, and illustrated by Phyllis Saroff, the book explores water quality through the play of two siblings.
